Hi! I'm Coral. Originally this whole project came together because of a writing contest. I realized how many talented writers I've run into online who sadly don't usually get much farther than posting their stories online. I thought about it for a long time and decided that if I've got the ressources, why not use them?

I could never have done this alone and I'm very proud to have an army of artists making covers and character drawings, musician minions- erm, friends to help me with a special song and of course all the authors and poets who've worked hard to write and edit some great material. We're so close to a finished product!

 

I'm always super busy, so this is actually a relaxing project for me... Until I get to the publishing part of things.

 

I'm 14 years old, I've got 2 cats and 2 brothers, I love music and writing. I'm going into grade 10 and am a part of 3 choirs, the school band, the school musical, and I write nonstop.

 

I'm so proud of everyone involved with this and I can't believe that this is actually happening. Thanks to everyone for supporting me, my friends, my family, my teachers and my fellow authors.

 

I also wanted to say that I have a sort of unique writing style. Some people hate it but, that's preference. To each his own. I know some people like it and some people don't and I'm okay with that. You can't make everyone happy! Anyways, so with my writing there are two big things: first, I don't just write in first person, I'm most comfortable when my character is actually talking to the audience. I know that's kind of odd because technically the character isn't supposed to know that there is an audience but it's how I've been writing my best for a long time now. Second, my writing is easily influenced. After I read a book, my writing style becomes similar to that author for a little while so I try to read books only written by one author if I know what story I'm working on or I just don't read a lot for a short period of time.
